slowly, but surely, SUBASE New London [Groton] is becoming irrelevant. Even with all the money spent to upgrade the Base, BRAC will find a way to close it, and with the fall of that domino, Electric Boat will fall right afterward, and the Defense industry in South Eastern Connecticut will be dead, and gone.
