Postal carrier gets probation for hiding mail

DETROIT - A Michigan postal worker who hid thousands of pieces of mail in a storage unit has been placed on probation for two years.

Jill Hull appeared in federal court in Detroit Thursday, three months after pleading guilty to deserting the mail, a misdemeanor.
