We don’t need no water!

You know I’m quite a cynic with the topic of the GOP future. The saving grace here is that it seems to be that the congressional GOP members have not taken the bait from the pundits such as Limbaugh, Gingrich or the more extremist and irrational elements as found on the blog.

They will have their chance to question and speak during the hearings regarding Sotomayor but hopefully cooler heads will prevail and a general level of common decency is maintained.

Others make the argument that they should reflect the Democrats in these matter and go at this in a cut-throat manner. That would have a negative effect and for that matter I don’t want any part of those tactics. Resorting to “nirther like” behavior would be bad form.
