I am expecting Augh will be confirmed, because he’s a middle-aged Christian white Republican man, barring some Hail Mary or deus ex machina between now and that Senate vote. He’s stubborn, Trump is stubborn, and the GOP leadership is stubborn, because abortion and executive privilege. To hell with reasonable doubt, optics or potential voter backlash.
