The only vote I have ever regretted was the first one I ever made for President in 1976, I voted for Jimmy Carter. I find the way he’s behaved since leaving office, especially the last 8 years or so to be the most disgraceful ever by an ex-President. The way he has sucked up the the worst element in the Middle East to the point of effectively serving as their mouth piece at times, as well as undermining US foreign policy, makes me sick.

Compared to Jimmy Carter, every single ex-President before or since him is a towering example of dignity and class.
