re: #263 goddamnedfrank

You’re wrong on several key points:

1.) He had insurance, and his insurance company has agreed to pay him the full amount of his policy. He claims to have forgotten to pay the $75 city’s service fee, so the fire department let his house burn, let his pets die, and let his neighbor’s property become threatened before acting, even though he offered at the scene to pay whatever amount was deemed necessary.

2.) You are now accusing him of committing arson, a felony, with absolutely no evidence, he did not “set” the fire by any definition. Your attempts to blame the victim are extraordinary, repulsive, and antithetical to reality.

You are just brazenly lying, with no sense of personal dignity or integrity. Somebody has to say it, you are acting like trash.

1. I didn’t accuse him of arson, I accused him of negligence. He was burning trash and started a fire, that’s negligence not arson.

2. He neglected to pay for the added insurance of fire protection. He isn’t poor or destitute, it wasn’t legally required, he just failed. (BTW, I mentioned this morning that his insurance company would be forced to pay)

So tell me again, this time slowly, how this is a failure of “privatization”.
