In fairness, Clinton was probably the most hawkish member of Obama’s foreign policy team. But I wouldn’t say Trump’s brand of foreign policy would be to her left - he’s talked about more countries having nuclear weapons, starting trade wars (or even hot wars) if he doesn’t get his way, and has suggested that being unpredictable in foreign policy is a good thing. And really, given Clinton’s experience in the 90s, her hawkish tendencies are understandable, even if you don’t tend to agree with them.

But hey, Salon’s headline writers are in fine form, as usual for the last few weeks.
