Unlikely. Too much of the GOP primary voting population is female for Cain to survive this. He’s going to stink to high Heaven in the eyes of pretty much any woman after this, nor will the more strategic GOP voters pull the lever for him now that he’s damaged goods.

Can only hope.

But the tea-party loses another star it promoted who was not prime-time.

If Cain’s support does not move en-bloc back to Perry and instead splits - Romney has the nomination.
