Jim Webb as an independent could siphon off Republican votes. You could call them “Webb Republicans”.

This guy honestly pisses me off. He stepped down from the Senate since he was bored with politics. Fair enough but it forced Tim Kaine who could have ran for governor again into the Senate race. It ended working out since McAuliffe ended up beating Cuccinelli for governor and Kaine beat George Allen and has been a better senator than Webb was but Webb’s attitude pisses me off. I’ve never been a big fan of his. He has some of my gratitude for ending George Allen’s presidential aspirations but at the same time, I don’t like the guy at all.
