I think Trump does not fundamentally believe that there is even such a thing as a win/win solution to a problem. The only kind of winning that gives him a special tingle is when he dominates a “loser”. So, that is the only kind of win he seeks.

This is really bad for trade and diplomacy.

This is really bad for everything and everyone. Trump’s “being fair to the US” means attacking every country that might have something trump wants. It’s interesting that most of the countries he attacks have majority non-white populations.

He want’s the world to look like it did in my 1950s school atlas - majority colored pink representing the great British Empire.
