Obama injected race into this. A president should not be commenting on pending prosecutions. From what I understand, Zimmerman stalked and killed that young man regardless of his motivation.

When an unarmed black minor is stalked and killed, left unidentified for three days in the morgue, when no effort is taken to canvas the community he was killed in to find out who he was, and the police go out of their way to correct a witness to feed her the shooter’s version of events, it’s automatically injected with race. You seem to be pretending that this society’s historical valuation of blacks is immaterial, that it’s somehow inappropriate to mention the elephant in the room, to acknowledge the painfully obvious thing that’s on everyone’s minds, whether they have the honesty to admit it or not.
