When I was very little, Trump parking his hideous garish yacht, the “Trump Princess” —and yes, it was decorated in gold—in Hong Kong harbor, apparently as part of a plan to keep assets out of his divorce negotiations. Every day, his uniformed staff would de-board as a bloc and eat their meals at McDonald’s.

They made it very inconvenient for me to get my Happy Meal. Which at the time was especially important, since McDonald’s in Hong Kong was a kind of ritualized way of recovering after weeks of burning hot South Indian food that I could barely taste, let alone appreciate.

So basically…I never liked that guy.
