On the other hand, liberal areas aren’t doing all that well either. I’m with Kaiser, but Stanford Medical has vaccines and will give appointments to over 65s (Northern CA Kaiser has basically no vaccine because most of the limited supplies are going to Southern CA.) So, I made an appointment with Stanford but I’ve been on hold for nearly 2 hours with a simple question about payment because out of network and all that. There shouldn’t be much cost, but they talk about bringing your insurance card and co-pay on the appointment site. CA is a mess.
