Charles, I’m no scientist. Studied astronautics and engineering sciences in school years ago. Spent most of the past thirty years in Asia in business. Have been studying the rise of civilization and man’s prehistory both formally and informally over the 35+ years. Have had an active interest in what is now called “climate change” for over three decades - civilizations have been changed, failed, destroyed by changes in climate, and by catastrophic changes, so you can’t study one without being much aware of the effects of climate change on past civilizations.

I will not pass myself off as a climate change expert in any way. But I do consider myself as keeping somewhat up to date on issues, although my time has been more devoted to trying to find a real job recently than worrying about the finer points of the AGW or no AGW argument.

Uh, OK. So are you a farmer, or was that another joke?
