God’s law in heaven

Free-will being the point. On Earth we choose —man’s law allows for that.
Simply codifying God’s law does not constitute a choice. It is how each of us act of our own volition each and every minute that God pays attention to.

On earth, we have to create laws that work, here on earth to maintain human rights and civil society.

Theocracy DOES NOT WORK.

Now, I can understand that and I’m not religious and don’t believe in the myths of heaven and earth. I can abstract my thoughts to this level.

See that big pie chart a few posts back? There is the problem. And those folks are right here on earth right now. And they do not think they are going to get to heaven if they don’t do what their religions tell them to do on earth.

It doesn’t not matter what you get as long as the majority of the people on earth look to religion for their ultimate guidance.

By the way, most humans are a little too scared to abstract anything. They like the well-chosen path with the road map they can easily understand and follow.
