I’ll use transit to go to downtown Seattle if I’m going by myself.
However due to the weirdos, I always carry my little friend.

Some woman with a couple kids was getting hassled on a bus in Seattle a few weeks back. When she got off he followed her and started getting abusive and making threats.

She shot his ass. She’s not going to be charged either. Legal carry permit, and in WA a person only has to articulate a reasonable fear of serious injury or death.

Good for her. If that happened in Portland, Oregon she’d be in jail right now facing charges.

In the two weeks I took the bus and light rail I saw several violent acts including one guy getting seriously punched in the face. Then there was the typical crazy lady in the back of the bus harassing people and the loud mouthed drunk couples that would argue and go from hating each other one minute to loving each other the next.
