I think it’s true that gay marriage won’t be a big issue in the future.

Tell that to the three judges in IA who were voted out after their same-sex marriage ruling. They had to purposely be voted out (meaning more than 50% of the voting public had to put NO next to their names). All three who were up for reelection did not get it.

The religious right and chamber of commerce put in almost a million dollars into ousting these judges who never had to raise money before.

Down the road, no, it won’t be a big issue, but I think 10 years is the minimum for us to see that. And that saddens me to think of how many lives are being messed up, especially younger people.
