No, ‘Fast & Furious’ was a genuine scandal, but its one that Darryl Issa should have been investigated as the mid-level fuck-up it was, instead of wasting months fruitlessly trying to tie it to Eric Holder. Had he done that, though, few would have kept paying attention. That’s a problem, when doing your job rights gets you ignored, but screwing it up gets you applauded.
