Do these people think that having an armed first-grade schoolteacher, or even worse, elementary school students packing is not a spectacularly bad idea?

Yet we are back to the “gun-free zone” concept.

If you wanted to commit such an atrocity, would you go to a cop shop or a gun-free zone?

Someone in the building not in direct contact with the children could conceivably be armed. Even a rent-a-cop.

I don’t have the answer, just musing.
