I agree, but unfortunately, we all know that such a step, registered firearms, would severely disturb the NRA’s masturbatory Red Dawn fantasies.

Nothing is going to change as long as the NRA and the Gun Lobby (pretty much the same thing nowadays) continue to convince Americans that guns are a magic talisman that will protect us all from crime, terrorism and tyranny.
