Curiously, well not curiously, there weren’t internment camps in the US for Germans or Italians the way there were for Japanese-Americans. That’s despite the greater threat from Germany to hit the continental US, and where Germany actually carried out terrorism on US soil, including landing saboteurs on Long Island and Florida (and a history of doing so going back to WWI).
