Way back when, some friends and I did a project - combining history and science - and followed the recipe for Syrian beer (one of the oldest pieces of writing in the world).

Assuming we did it right, beer-making has come a very long way since the Syrians of old.

I didn’t know that Diana, heh one of the oldest writings was on how to make beer.
