With two acts of domestic terrorism within days, it isn’t going to be optional whether Obama decides to address the issues. Too many people are pissed off about this to get swept under the rug. In the past month we’re seen a couple of hometown jihadis come off the rails, and then the Tiller murder - all by zealots.

But I wouldn’t think O’Reilly or Hannity are going to be the shining knights to “do right” by this situation. They do a whole lot of wrong with no encouragement, whatsoever. Not only are they inflammatory for the sake of being inflammatory, but some of those they keep close to their vest are pretty gd disgusting. Fox, itself, has become a haven and sounding board for all kinds of flavors of wingnuts.

When he does address the issue it will be with a call for gun control.
