The candidates tangled over the Obama administration’s response to the recent attack in Libya that claimed the life of the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans. Romney said, “It took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror.” In fact, Obama described it in those terms the day after the attack. But in the days that followed, neither he nor all the members of his administration spoke consistently on the subject.
