Just to put this out there, and I swear I’ll shut up after this…

Here in the Philippines where I grew up, the “conservative Christianness” of our religious institutions are laid bare more often than not. They have fought against the right to artificial birth control (lumping it in with abortion) and have left our country as the only country in the world without legalized divorce - something they are now praising as a positive trait.

This has left the country with a ticking population bomb exacerbated by millions in abusive relationships they can’t escape. Combined with anger with what the religious right are doing in the United States, well…it makes me want to punch something.

And that’s all I got to say about that. :B
