Agree or disagree (I happen to think Miller was right about the Dems of 2004), that was what Miller’s appearance and speech meant. He wasn’t some crazy, he was someone who felt his party was wrong (Remember that he was a life-long Dem) and that George W. Bush was the better man for the job of president.

Yes he was a lifelong Dem from the very red state of Georgia, in point of fact while he was not crazy he was at the very least fringe and not necessarily speaking for the mainstream democratic and especially not liberal thought at the time.

I think you give Zell and his words more credit than they deserve.


Also how in your eyes did the Democratic Party change between 2004 and 2008 to make us suited or lead a nation in time of war?
