The Schiavo case was the most sickening spectacle from the party of “personal freedom” I have ever witnessed. Dr. Frist diagnosing Schiavo from a videotape, for fuck’s sake.

Terri’s final autopsy put the lie to the whole ghoulish spectacle. Her brain was liquid. She was blind and deaf. Anything and everything that had made her who she was had long since disappeared. All that was left was her automatic body functions.
