She needs to go younger for a running mate. As for Marty, I don’t see him as VP material. I think he’s someone who should be considered cabinet material. He really doesn’t put much in play for Hillary that she doesn’t on her own i.e. Biden helping Obama with white working class and general white older voters and his state/region won’t be a problem for Hillary either. I don’t see Sanders as VP material. I’m trying to think though about who else would be good. I guess I wouldn’t mine my own state’s Tim Kaine but I suspect Hillary will and should go with someone with a more progressive reputation for a running mate.

I think you’re probably right about O’Malley. I’m trying to think of somebody from a swing state—Kaine fills that bill, and he and Hillary are buds, but I can’t see it. Hmmm—Ohio, Florida, North Carolina—nobody comes to mind…
