People got fucking pissed off when the Aurora theater shooter didn’t get the death penalty. Except for a number of the victims’ family members. The most vocal was Jordan Ghawi. His sister died in that theater.

I understand how people want the shooter to suffer, to die, to be erased forever. That’s base. It’s lizard brain thinking.

Frankly, I can’t tell those families how to respond to a tragedy like that but I also firmly believe the DP is anything but justice.
