I’ve not yet heard the reasons why the foreign assistance was shunned. I keep hearing how foreign offers were turned down, but what are the reasons? When somebody finds me a story telling me the reasons why the foreign aid was turned down, then I may be upset about this. Until then, I’m assuming that there were reasonable reasons for turning down these offers - maybe it’ll turn out I’m wrong on that, but I don’t understand why the only reporting on this has been “He turned down offers of help!”, with no reporting on the reasons WHY.

I can’t find that info either…or who’s in charge of the cleanup, or what progress is being made, non of that…I presumed BP is responsible for the cleanup money wise but that all hands, world wide would pitch in….meanwhile the Gulf is dying
