Look, some of you folks need to just address this as how it pertains to Weiner. Clearly, at the very least he’s unethical. An investigation will turn up if he’s committed more serious offences.
He’s pretty much hit “scum” on the meter.

I think there should be an ethics investigation. What Weiner seems to have done (at the moment, pending further revelations) I would put as more benign than Ensign, for example, because it’s not apparent (unless I’ve missed something) that he did anything illegal*. But obviously there needs to be some kind of reckoning.

*Not sure if Ensign paying off his mistress and her husband was technically illegal but it does seem to be worse than Weiner’s cover-up attempts.
