switching parties could be a symbolic gesture but if you dont change voting positions it doesn’t really accomplish much else

I want to see Flake vote against GOP tax cuts. That would be an anti-Trump action to go along with his anti-Trump words.

For me, changed voting patterns are much more important than a change in party affiliation. After all, I define Republicans as those who habitually vote GOP in contested general elections, independently of how they are registered.
