I have a suspicion that the next time Democrats control the senate with any majority, and they have a president willing to go along, they’ll simply dissolve all the federal circuit courts and replace judges with their own picks. I know that would not ultimately be a good thing, but I doubt that Democrats are going to tolerate being locked into a generational battle with a conservative court that got installed thanks to assistance from a foreign power.

I was actually thinking that a stop would be put to all of this judge for life nonsense (SCOTUS excepted, perhaps).
