We had this on the BBC as well, briefly, amid all the political mayhem here - but the other papers don’t ahve these reports - after all, it was the MAIL which got behind the veterans, their readers collecting money to make the trip for them possible.
Gord, natch, didn’t want to give a penny - and if PB0 hadn’t turned up, he’d not ahve gone either.

Will Gord call for an election before his popularity goes to single digits (or has that already happened)? It is remarkable how completely his government unraveled. Historically inept.
