Nothing better than an honest answer. And like I said, even though I don’t believe in a deity myself, I understand how prayer can work to help a person or a group. Praying for rain, or a pony strikes me as magical thinking, which humans are certainly prone to do, but I’d like to think modern literate humans can do better. I suppose I’d be wrong.

Hmmm atheists/agnostics have a form of prayer though, when they “really hope” or wish for something. “I hope I get that job”, “I hope that girl goes out with me” etc. Is that much different than praying?
