re: #260 Our Precious Bodily Fluids

Someone should put together a beginner’s guide to Dr. Who.

or not.

I’m sure there are many websites dedicated for novices.

I first watched Dr. Who when Pertwee played the part, and my local PBS station rebroadcast the BBC series.

In college a friend of mine liked it when the fourth Doctor was there… but I didn’t really pick up interest until the the renewed series in 2005.

Everyone ignores the American movie version with the one-off Doctor.

Short synopsis on my Theory of Doctor Who: The BBC, in searching for children’s show in the 1960’s stumbled upon the idea of a fatherly figure as a space traveler, incorporating the zany British humor of the time. Over the years the series has transformed into a generalized post-Christian exercise in existentialism, with “The Doctor” being a new Christ-figure in a post-Christian UK.
