Alabama sheriff’s deputies refused service at Taco Bell by alleged anti-police cashier

To protect and not be served.

Two sheriff’s deputies were allegedly refused service at a Taco Bell in Alabama, just for being officers.

The two Lee County sheriff’s deputies were at a Taco Bell in Phenix City on Saturday when a cashier told the pair and an officer’s wife the eatery didn’t serve cops.

The officers first took it as a joke, but the tone took a serious shift after they asked the cashier if she was kidding.

“No, I’m not serving you,” the cashier allegedly responded, according to Sheriff Jay Jones, WTVM reported.

“Anti-police?” Now let’s not rush to judgement here.

I think this cashier should be commended for taking such action to ensure the continued health and well being of our police officers. Law enforcement is dangerous enough without Taco Bell “food” being added on top of all the other hazards.
