re: #278 ObserverArt
I just don’t like stuff hanging on me. A watch and rings just start to become distractions and I guess sometimes get on my nerves and I start to poke and fuss with them. Back in the early 70s I wore a watch on the then-fashionable wide leather band, and I had a couple rings made by artists friends. But by the time I was out of college, I got out of all of it.
My hands and wrists are faster this way!
I used to have my hands in the guts of computers all the time and metal rings and watches didn’t mix well. Aside from the chance of shorting out a mobo my gold watches were getting cut by the sharp edges of the cases. I stopped wearing them and haven’t gone back.
