The snack shop at work is run by a woman who also makes a fair amount of money in real estate. She didn’t like Trump but didn’t like Hillary either so I’m not sure which way she voted. She HATES Trump now. I came into the shop this afternoon and she shouts “Oprah for president!” She’s already sold on the idea. I told her I didn’t want the notion of celebrity presidents to become a thing. She kind of agreed, but Oprah!!

I just wish people knew there was more to being President than a nice speech. I hate to say it but that’s probably why Obama disappointed some of the left. That’s NOT his fault by the way and I definitely am not blaming him. But purists left and right don’t want a leader, they want an abstraction to make them feel better.
