From what I can tell from the Port Shutdown site is there were some talks and outreach meetings. I get the impression that the unions told them they weren’t interested and the Occupy folks are going ahead with it anyways.

Sounds like ILWU is really tearing into them. I hadn’t seen some of these quotes.
