That’s the feeling I get as well - they’re stalling, hoping something, anything, comes up so they can say, “Oh, well, Brexit’s off………nothing we can do about it. Sorry.”

As with our homegrown brand of power-hungry half-wits, the Tories want to be able to avoid keeping their promises without any political blowback. “We really wanted to do something about all those ‘foreigners’ and return Britain to being a world power again, but (insert third party) got in the way and made that impossible. Keep voting for us and we promise it will be happen…some day.”
