Yeah, that’s the long and short of it. There is some beautiful hilly country in the south of Indiana, near the Kentucky border. But of course, fish country is on the almost glass-like flat plains of the central part of the state. I think it is a lovely place, especially for driving, but my wife thinks it’s boring.

Well, The Great Flatness essentially runs from central Ohio to Denver. With all the relief features being erosional for the most part - thus the “hilly” sections of Indiana and Kentucky down near the Ohio River.

I was living in the central part of the state as well - Richmond. Bicycled over the “highest point in Indiana” a few times. Which is essentially a slightly higher point on a fairly level road.
