Pardon the super-long comment, but I’ve been dealing with this shit since this morning. It’s getting old and I’m getting seriously cranky.

According to a sizable contingent that includes people in positions of power, every time a Muslim does something bad anywhere in the world, regardless of whether s/he was motivated by Islam or not, the entire religion and all it’s followers shoulder the blame. It’s ridiculous & not at all indicative of critical thinking.

I get annoyed when our supposedly modern, enlightened, rational society behaves not much differently than pre-Enlightnement societies mired in ignorance did hundreds of years ago.
