It’s amusing how swiftly and thoroughly the alt-right Trump supporters constructed a story blaming Ben Shapiro for blocking Allum Bakhari from publishing the Cruz story in early February. There’s really no reason to think that Shapiro’s editor-at-large title was anything but ceremonial after his Friends of Hamas debacle, and Breitbart’s overall bias has been so thoroughly behind Trump it strains credulity to think they sat on this to help Cruz.
