I’m usually against revivals of old TV series, but this one might be a worthy exception - It looks like they got almost the entire cast back together, and honestly, they are going to have TONS of material to work with.

Not sure this is going to work. Mrs. Jay found reruns of the original Murphy Brown on a cable station, so we started to watch them: We both had the same reaction: This Show Didn’t Age Well. Kinda like its stars (though Faith Ford looks bizarrely unchanged in 25+ years). We hope they can retool their HW Bush/Clinton-era shtick for today’s audience, but we’re not optimistic.

Not wanting to feed domestic un-tranquility, I also keep my opinions of the new Will & Grace reboot to myself: Mrs. Jay loves it: to me, it’s just another ’90s retread that doesn’t work well: in this case despite the cast’s talent.
