The American Legion response is dignified and discreet. The matter, as far as they are concerned, is closed.

I, however, am still appalled by the snub. Furious. This single disgusting dereliction says everything. The peacenik ball wasn’t snubbed, security wasn’t an issue for the loons and celluloid poppets of Hollywood. But for Medal of Honor recipients and the coalition of Veterans organizations—to damn much trouble to show up.

I detest this President, and I will never forget this cruel and insulting snub. President Obama is a punishment and a curse on this nation.
