There are a number of young theocrats in Colorado Springs, but I think this is an anomaly. Probably due to the toxic influence of Focus on the Family (among others).

The Air Force Academy needs to be moved. The number of incidents involving the Evangelicals violating various Church and State things there is astounding.

It will also help kill Colorado Springs, turning Colorado more blue overall. Personally, I would move the Air Force Academy to Fort Collins.

Yeah I’ve heard about how Colorado Springs is. Yikes. Anyhow, thing is most people our age are fairly socially liberal. I know a lot of people who disagree with me about the economy but really don’t give two fucks if you’re gay, want to smoke a joint, etc. I just think long term if the GOP continues to rely on social conservatives they’re hurtign themselves. They need to adapt to the reality of the 21st century just iike the Democrats did after the New Deal coalition faded.
