So it’s clear, when people like WW and I talk about getting rid of the US born requirement, we still support things like requirements for American residency and citizenship for a certain amount of years. Some of the finest patriots this country has ever produced are men and women who may not have been born within our borders but came here and made this country their own. I just don’t see why there’s a distinction between someone like my great grandfather who was born in Germany and his younger brothers and sisters who would have been born here in the US. I just think the fear of a foreign agent provocateur is misplaced.
