VDH was genius on this yesterday. These people are absolutely middle-of-the-road and commonplace in the academic, elite circles where Obama is drawing them from. They are the reasonable ones in his group of friends.

Reasonable? If this is reasonable about obama’s circle of friends or academia? I shudder at the thought of where I work.

No kidding. You can, by the way, be intellectually honest in attacking academia without attacking learning or knowledge. It’s only those who breathe that air for decades without building a business or working a real-world project or getting your hands dirty helping build a playground for a school that gives you that kind of entitled arrogance and clueless manner.
