Indeed. but BP is not the only player and just because we stop drilling does not mean other countries will, in fact they will be happy to step up production to make up for our moratorium.

This is probably true.

But those jobs in those other countries aren’t going to feed the families of the folks in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Texas who are now out of work.
